Terms and Conditions of Sale for Experiences at the Museo Diffuso dei Sicani

Please read these conditions carefully before proceeding with the purchase of one of our experiences. By making a purchase, you implicitly accept the following terms and conditions.

1. Object of the Contract

These conditions regulate the purchase of experiences offered by the Museo Diffuso dei Sicani through the official website. Each experience offered includes cultural activities, guided tours, workshops, or special events in the Sicani Mountains villages, described in detail on the respective sales page.

2. Reservations and Purchases

• Reservation: All experiences must be booked in advance through the official website. The reservation will be confirmed only after payment completion.
• Payment Methods: Payments can be made by credit card, bank transfer, or other payment methods specified at the time of purchase.
• Order Confirmation: After making the payment, you will receive a confirmation email with the details of your reservation. Please keep this email as proof of purchase.

3. Prices and Fees

• Prices: All prices of experiences are in Euro and include VAT, if applicable. The price displayed at the time of purchase is the final price.
• Price Changes: The Scattered Museum of the Sicani reserves the right to change the prices of experiences at any time. However, changes will not affect purchases already completed.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Customer Cancellations: If you wish to cancel your reservation, you can do so up to 48 hours before the experience begins. In case of cancellation within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund. If the cancellation occurs beyond this limit, no refund will be provided.
• Museum Cancellations: In the event of experience cancellation by the Scattered Museum of the Sicani (e.g., due to force majeure), you will be contacted to arrange a new date or receive a full refund.

5. Reservation Changes

• Changes Requested by Customers: Changes to the reservation (e.g., change of date or number of participants) can be requested up to 48 hours before the experience and are subject to availability.
• Changes Made by the Museum: The Scattered Museum of the Sicani reserves the right to modify the program of experiences for organizational or unforeseen reasons. In such cases, you will be offered an alternative or the option of a refund.

6. Participation in Experiences

• Participation Requirements: Some experiences may have specific requirements (e.g., suitable clothing, physical requirements, minimum age). These requirements are indicated in the description of each experience, and participants are required to comply with them.
• Arrival and Punctuality: Punctuality is required for the start of experiences. If a participant arrives late, the Scattered Museum of the Sicani does not guarantee participation or a repeat of the experience, and no refunds will be granted for failure to respect the schedule.

7. Responsibility

• Damages or Accidents: The Scattered Museum of the Sicani disclaims any liability for damages, accidents, or loss of personal belongings during the experiences. Participants are required to follow the guides' instructions and adhere to safety regulations.
• Force Majeure: The Scattered Museum of the Sicani will not be held responsible for the non-execution of experiences due to force majeure (e.g., adverse weather conditions, strikes, health emergencies).

8. Personal Data Processing

The personal data collected for booking experiences will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on the website.

9. Applicable Law and Competent Court

These conditions are governed by Italian law. For any disputes regarding the contract of sale of experiences, the competent court will be that of the headquarters of the Scattered Museum of the Sicani.
